Movie Review of 'Shutter Island'

I love a crazed movie as much as the next guy, but I never expected the full-on roller-coaster ride that was Shutter Island.

This movie turns one's perceptions of reality as Leonardo DiCaprio explores a mental institution on a lonely island. The star begins as a detective, investigating the going-ons on this suspicious burg.

However, it is revealed that he may well have been hallucinating this life as a detective, blurring reality in a fantastic way. I don't want to give away too much, but let's just say the twist ending of this movie puts even Memento to shame.

To put it short, this is the best movie out right now in a very slow season. If you're in the mood for a movie, go see this one.

To grade it? I'd give it a tentative A-.
